David Benzal is a renowned digital artist with 20 years of professional experience, known for his impeccable work in the Hollywood film industry and AAA video games. His versatility as a Concept Artist, Illustrator, and Art Director has led him to collaborate with some of the most influential companies in the world, such as Sony PlayStation, HBO, Netflix, Universal Studios, Warner Bros, Paramount Pictures, Unreal Engine, Fuji Television, TOEI Animation, Epic Games, Ubisoft, 20th Century Studios, and Walt Disney Pictures, among many others.
His impressive portfolio includes iconic projects such as Jurassic World, Game of Thrones, Love Death and Robots (seasons 1 and 2), Dune, Alien Romulus, Ghost Recon, Fortnite, Renfield, La Sociedad de la Nieve, Mass Effect, Sword in the Stone, and many others.
Over the past year, he has been awarded numerous accolades and recognitions from the most important companies in the industry, solidifying his reputation as one of the top artists in his field.
One of the highlights of his career was being selected by 20th Century Fox as one of the 40 illustrators for the commemorative book celebrating 40 years of Alien: The Eighth Passenger, titled 40 Years, 40 Artists.
Moreover, his role as In-house Concept Artist for the new Alien movie, titled Alien Romulus, positioned him as a key figure in the visual creation of this major project. For one year, he worked closely with the director on character design, environment design, vehicle design, hair concepts, costume design, and creature design, showcasing his multidisciplinary skills in every visual aspect of the production.
